1994 Fender MIM Standard Stratocaster Upgraded to "David Gilmour DG-20 Pickups and shell pickguard assembly in White. This instrument has been Upgraded to "David Gilmour DG-20 Pickups and shell pickguard assembly that Sells for $294.95 at 3 of the big box store websites!!! This 14 year old instrument is in excellent condition, with 1 small ding by the top strap button and that is all I can find!! A new Std.Stratocaster lists for $600.00 and will cost you around $400 bucks just about anywhere and has only a cheap Gig bag included. So to get this Guitar and pickups not including the Dlx bag and paying someone to do it Like I would have to do! It would cost around $750. Please check our opening NO RESERVE starting bid or hit the Buy it Now for Immediate Happiness and Lightning Fast shipping!!!!! Here is some info about These Great Pickups from the Web! David has used this same EMG system for many years on his main red Start. The DG20 pickup comes with 3 ivory SA single-coil pickups, wired with an EXG guitar expander, an SPC presence control, and master volume all on a deluxe shell pickguard, ivory pickups and white knobs. The SA single-coil pickups feature Alnico magnets which give a full round tone with an accentuated mid range. The EMG-EXG guitar expander circuit increases the bass and treble while reducing the mids, perfect for chord definition at higher volumes, while the SPC makes the SAs sing by boosting the mids and turning your single coils into full blown humbucking! Now you can have the same guitar pickups and tone accessories as David, but keep practicing if you want to get to the "Dark Side of the Moon." David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has constantly extended the frontiers of rock, collecting an armload of platinum and gold albums along the way. A long-time EMG user (he purchased his first set of pickups in 1984!), he uses EMG pickups and EQ on his main guitars, both on stage and in the studio. This is an incredibly flexible setup. The SA pickups are hot but low in buzz and hum which is especially important when you're running with a lot of effects or a big rack. They use alnico magnets which give a warmer tone with a little more midrange than the EMG-S. The low-impedance design preserves your tone quality when using a cord or wireless transmitter. The onboard EQ circuits give you very powerful tone shaping abilities right on board. Cranking up the EXG (which replaces the middle knob) simultaneously cuts the mids and boosts the bass and treble. This "scooped" tone helps emphasize the clean, transparent classic Strat tone. Interestingly, the SPC (the other tone knob) has exactly the reverse effect. It's a presence control which smoothly boosts the mids centered in the low mids. This will create a thick, rich, almost humbucker-like tone. Both the EXG and SPC have no effect on the sound when they're turned all the way down, so you always have the option of dropping back to an unmodified tone at the twist of a knob. The DG20 comes pre-assembled on a beautiful Red Shell pickguard. The entire system requires only one 9V battery, so the entire system will drop into any standard Strat body with no additional routing. You can't beat the incredible tonal range of the DG20. It allows you the greatest range of sounds, with all the other great EMG benefits - low noise, super reliability, and, of course, great tone. ! $449.00

Super-Rare non-reverse 1966 Firebird V We just purchased this Super-Rare non-reverse 1966 Firebird V. This is a one Family owned guitar. The Original owner purchased this Firebird in Birmingham, Alabama. He passed away in 1994 & his nephew has had it ever since. This ' Bird " is in EXCELLENT Condition - Plays & Sounds FANTASTIC - NO repairs or cracks @ the HeadStock or the neck joint ( see pics ). The Pat # MiniHumbuckers growl when you need it & are creamy smooth @ lower volumes !!!! - This " Bird " also came with the 3-Way ( switchcraft ) Toggle switch , not the cheesy slide switch that came the Firebird 1's & 3's - NO solder has been touched on the pots & it covers most of the dates but you can see that the pots are dated 137 6552 ( 52nd week of 65' ). We put her under the Black-Lite & it checks out PERFECT - There are a couple of bumps on the edges which I show you in the pics & the back has some surface indentions , NOTHING thru the finish on the back !!!! The top is in Fantastic condition with the Sunburst still vibrant - It comes with the Original Yellow Lined Gibson HSC that also is in great condition - all latches & hinges work fine -------- The frets appear to be original with 99 % of life left - Original nut - The Finish on the Deluxe Vibrato with the Gibson Logo with the leaf-and-lyre decoration looks Fantastic with NO rust & just some minor scuffing - GREAT Guitar - GREAT Condition !!!!!!!!! This is truly a " RARE BIRD " as according to Gibson shipping records ONLY 342 Firebird V's were shipped in 1966 !!!! I have 46 detailed pictures, so check them out - the nephew did have grovers added in the late 90's & he told us he did no other mods to the guitar. The reason I mention this is we pride ourselves on accurate descriptions of all our guitars & amps we put up for sale. I am not positive if this is the original P'Guard - It looks period correct, but there are 4 extra P'Guard screw holes in the body that are just inside the other holes ( see pics ). If it is a repo it was added prior to 1994 !!!!! The rest of this RARE Gibson appears to be straight & a GREAT find of a HARD to get guitar that has not had the neck or headstock broken & no routing under the P'Guard ---- $4500.00
